I am grateful every visit that I found Dr. Anne Fredal when I did, for I am sure there isn’t a more thorough and compassionate eye doctor around. Nothing is left to chance during an examination. Every test she performs is checked and double checked. I only have one pair of eyes, so her going the extra mile during every visit is appreciated. Her daughter followed in her footsteps and is an optometrist there as well. WIN! WIN!

I’ve been to so many eye places over the years. Never went to LaCroix because my insurance didn’t cover it. Now it does, and I couldn’t be happier. Dr. Joyce is just the nicest and sweetest soul. The entire staff treats you like you matter. Highly recommend to anyone, especially if you’re going to those big name places where they don’t even know your name.

I need more than 5 stars to praise Dr. T. Fredal. The practice is friendly, caring and a very comfortable experience from the knowledgeable Receptionist, Tech, and Physician. Although very busy, the office was calm, I was seen on time, never rushed through many high tech testings, never had to wait in between rooms, and all my concerns were all addressed with patience and attention to detail by all. I was very impressed with Dr. Fredal who made me feel like I was her only patient, but more importantly I really trusted her. I Highly highly recommend this Optometrist.

I hadn’t had my eyes checked in over 20 years. I feel like I got 5⭐️ treatment from beginning to end. They asked what my budget was before recommending glasses instead of showing me something I couldn’t afford. To me, that’s very respectful of my time and wallet.

I started going to LaCroix Eye Care when Dr. Ann LaCroix’s father, Dr. Albert LaCroix, and her mom Yolanda were there. I continued to go once I had my own family but had to switch eye care providers for a few years due to a change in my insurance. I was so happy when we were able to switch back. Just like their website says: It felt like home! Dr. LaCroix is the absolute BEST!!!! She takes her time, she cares and she truly treats you like family. The staff is also amazing! I have recommended LaCroix Eye Care to friends and they all have been very happy. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

I have been a patient since 1974 when my parents moved to Mt. Clemens. For 50 years we have received excellent care. Many fond memories of Dr. Lacroix and is wife who managed the office. Also, as a long term patient to continue to receive the exceptional care of their daughter Dr. Ann LaCroix – Fredal!
Next, to have the 3rd generation join the family practice, Dr. Tessa Fredal is also very competent, developing positive relationships with patients and again providing superior care. Technology is state of the art!
Office staff is friendly, helpful and efficient! I will continue to highly recommend this optometric practice.

I became a patient of Dr. Ann Lacroix 42 years ago. I switched to Lacroix Eye Care when I got married in 1983. My wife started going to Dr. Ann’s father in 1967. In my opinion Lacroix Eye Care is the best of both worlds. You get personal, professional, courteous family-like treatment from the beginning of your eyecare experience all the way to selecting from their big selection of eyewear and lens options. On the other side of the spectrum, Lacroix Eye Care is run with very high standards and State of the Art equipment. In a world of commercialized cookie cutter eyecare, it is refreshing to see the personal touch the entire staff demonstrates consistently. I am proud to say Dr. Tessa is now my Dr. I am grateful that Dr. Tessa chose to be part of The Family Business. Now I know I will have a great doctor and a great eye care facility for many years to come. I highly recommend Lacroix Eye Care. I am confident you will be 100% satisfied.

We’ve been going to LaCroix for a few years now. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The whole office space is clean and inviting. Our kids feel comfortable during the eye exam and there’s a good selection of eyewear available. We generally find something and they provide all information for cost from what insurance covers to any out of pocket.

I am a new patient at LaCroix Eye Care. At the recommendation of my adult children who are patients, I decided to try treatment for my aging eyes with disabilities. I was treated with kindness, respect and a positive attitude for making changes to affect my quality of life. I left the office believing that I will see life brighter. And I do!

At the same time LaCroix Eye Care uses all the latest technology in eye care and carry all the latest eye wear, too.

LaCroix Eye Care is absolutely wonderful! Dr Tessa made me feel so comfortable despite me being very nervous. She was kind and patient and took time to explain her findings. I was waiting for a sales pitch to sell me glasses but she was more concerned about my medical well being than making a sale. I highly recommend her to anyone who is afraid of the eye doctor. The staff in the office are also very professional.

It was suggested that I visit LaCroix eye care because I have dry eye, and they really helped me with this issue. My previous optometrist retired so I decided to come to LaCroix for my eye exam and glasses. I’m very happy with my choice! Everyone is very friendly and professional and if I have a problem, they help solve it. And, I have a really cute pair of glasses!

LaCroix Eye Care has been our family go-to for Eye Care for many years, with my daughters and grandkids their patients for their entire lives. Starting back with Dr. Albert and his wife, Yolanda, both now departed, to Dr. Ann, and now Dr. Tessa, this family, along with their devoted, knowledgeable and caring staff has provided family-style eye care of many, and that includes our family. It amazes me to see how they’ve updated their facilities to include hundreds of frames and styles in a very compact and serviceable environment. They “know their stuff,” and we have never regretted our decision to both recommend the great folks at LaCroix and continue to count on them for all of our eye care needs, both routine and not-so-routine … they’re like family to our family, and encourage everyone to give them a try, you won’t be sorry.

Wonderful people and Wonderful service. I’ve been going there since I was a child. My insurance would actually pay more if I went to a different Eyecare facility but I don’t feel I’d get the same personal care.

Absolutely the best place to go for any optical care needed. Everyone is so friendly and they bend over backwards to help and get the answers you need. Just love coming here.

My husband and myself really enjoy the professionalism of the

Over the years I have been seen by 2 or 3 different doctors there and each optometrist has been respectful, courteous and able to answer my questions. I love La Croix eye care!!! I have been going here for years. The entire staff is awesome and you never have to wait for your appointment. I always feel very cared for and comfortable here. I have been seen by all of the doctors (Ann, Tessa, Joyce) and would highly recommend going to any of them. They really take their time to hear you out and provide the best care. (And of course they have the cutest glasses). Go see them!
